About Us

Welcome to Blue Ridge! The Blue Ridge Lodging Association is a Georgia limited liability company. The NEW Blue Ridge Lodging Association was established by a group of peers closely involved in the lodging and tourism industry in Blue Ridge, GA. Formed to create an environment that promotes improved business relationships, opportunities to increase tourism, and a shared sense of accomplishment .

Self accountability and trust are the cornerstone of this establishment. Members of the Blue Ridge Lodging Association are required to follow certain guidelines to qualify. The bylaws state the following:

MEMBERSHIP REQUIREMENTS

5.1 Membership Requirements. Qualification for Membership in the Corporation is subject to approval by the Board of Directors. The following must be demonstrated prior to consideration for Membership:
a. Three (3) years of lodging and sales tax records confirmed;
b. Liability insurance for the corporation as well as each property;
c. Minimum of five units managed by the Member unless given a variance by the board
d. Office in Fannin area and staffed (onsite) 24 hours per week (unless provided a variance by the Board);
e. Must have an emergency line and must respond within a reasonable time period to calls;
f. Website information must be accurate with updated pictures, clear pricing, rental agreement, and availability calendar;
g. Information book at the property about things to do in the area, providing operational, instructions/ manuals for the property’s systems and emergency contact procedures;
h. Must be a Member of local chamber of commerce and/or business association;
i. Hot tub sanitation (if a hot tub is located on premises)

These requirements and guidelines insure that all lodging providers involved in the BRLA provide a uniform standard for all guests and visitors.
